Steve & Jessica's Hotel at the Lafayette Wedding Photos

Hey everyone! We’re winding down the 2015 wedding season. Steve & Jessica’s Hotel at the Lafayette wedding photos are from back in October, I just haven’t had a chance to blog them until now. I met Jessica at a bridal show in the Summer of 2014 and we hit it off. I met Steve a few weeks later when we did their engagement photos. Steve & Jessica are easily one of my favorite couples from 2015. We had a lot of fun during their engagement session and even more on their wedding day!

We started off at Hotel at the Lafayette, one of the best places in Buffalo to get ready and have a reception. Once the girls were ready, we headed over to St. Joseph University Parish for the ceremony. What a beautiful church! Inside and out, this place was amazing. The ceremony was pretty standard, until the priest turned to me after the first kiss and asked, “Did you get it?” I gave him a “thumbs up” and a smile. That’s the first time I’ve been asked, and, although I’ve never missed the first kiss, I appreciated him asking! After a fun exit with bubbles, we headed out to do some more photos. We had a lot of stops to make, including the bride and groom’s street, Lasalle Park, Erie Basin Marina, Canalside Buffalo, and finally Lafayette Square. We had so many great photos from each of these locations, be sure you scroll through them all!

After the photo session, we were back at Hotel at the Lafayette for the reception. I love working at this place. Good food, great atmosphere, and plenty of spots for photos. Once the dancing got going, I took Steve & Jessica into one of the courtyards for a few more photos. As always, they came out great! I just love the lighting out there.
