Sean & Rhona's Buffalo La Galleria Wedding Photos
What a great day I had with Sean and Rhona! This wedding was back in June when it was still warm and sunny. I know we all can’t wait to get back to those days! I usually start off the day taking photos of the girls and this day was no different. I walked into the hotel room to find about 12 girls frantically (but eloquently) trying to get ready ontime. Since Rhona wasn’t there yet I started with a few shots of her gorgeous dress. Once she arrived and got into the dress, I took a few more before headed to the wedding location for her first look with Sean.
If you aren’t familiar with the first look, it’s when the bride and groom decide to see each other for the first time before the ceremony. I love when couples decide to do this! I usually set them up in a good position and then just capture things as they happen from there. It’s always a special moment. One of the big “pros” to the first look is that you can get the majority of the photos done before the ceremony, which means your guests won’t have to wait too long between the ceremony and reception.
Rhona’s family is Indian, which meant lots of colors and lots of dancing. I can honestly say, this was the most fun reception I did all summer. They found creative ways to mix modern dance music with traditional drumming and rhythms. Seeing two completly different cultures come together and celebrate the joining of two families was something special. I’m so glad they had me along for the day!
Thanks for having me Sean and Rhona! Best wishes!
